At STAPF, every meter of fabric is created in-house by our own team in Wörgl, from the first stitch to the final wash. We use only natural ingredients throughout our production process, including pure mountain spring water and renewable electricity, completely free from chemicals or synthetic agents.

This not only ensures exceptional quality but also preserves a legacy of textile artistry that makes each piece uniquely STAPF.
Craftsmanship plays a central role
The knitted parts are carefully stitched together in our Wörgl facility, while the fabric rolls are tied by hand before washing. Our felting (Walk) process follows a traditional, artisanal method: the wool fibers naturally interlock through heat, moisture, and movement – with no soap, no chemicals, just water and energy.

By producing our fabrics exclusively in Wörgl, we maintain full control over quality and sustainability. This allows us to ensure short supply chains in fabric production, support our local community, and preserve the authenticity of true regional craftsmanship
Strong partnerships in Europe
After walking and finishing in Wörgl, the fabrics and accessories are sent together with prototypes and detailed data sheets to our partners in Ukraine and the Czech Republic. There, the garments are sewn, inspected and then sent back to us for final sample checks and packaging.

Sustainability means more to us than fair production and high-quality materials. It means responsibility – for people, partners, and entire regions. For many years, we have worked closely with a team in Uzhgorod, Ukraine. Even the war has not shaken this connection. On the contrary: it has become stronger – supported by trust, solidarity, and the shared belief in a better future.
In the workshop in Uzhgorod, garments are created that enrich our collections worldwide. Every coat, every jacket, and every wool overall is not only a piece of Tyrolean craftsmanship but also a symbol of lived partnership in Europe.
